Susan Boyle, 48, unemployed, no looks nor young to start with, clearly an underdog. At first glance, i'm sure many of us would have already been laughing at her the moment she walked on stage for BGT, thinking that she was a utter retard who was going to do something stupid and embarass herself on National TV.

But NO, she was utterly amazing, making my hair stand the moment she sang. To think everyone was so cynical about her at first. Truly god-send & a big wakeup call to us all.
It got me thinking about the choir i'm in right now. Yes, indeed we are clearly the underdogs for this year's syf considering there are quite a few powerhouse jc choirs like vj and rj, but like susan boyle, we can definitely wow the audience if we believe in ourselves. Susan may have be laughed and chided at by people before she sung, but she proved them wrong :) So likewise, can we do it? Is ny choir really for the challenge?
