Lessons learnt

I'm back from Ck camp and i would have to say that it has been a really enriching experience, (abeit that it felt weird at first). Its been a while since i last had discussions on such issues, ie, knowing god vs knowing about god and trusting in him.

I for one, am guilty of the latter. Often times when i have a problem or when a bad thing happens, i end up blaming him for them rather than thanking him for the other good times. I guess in this way, god works in a different way from what we can comprehend most of the time.And In spite of the trials, we always have God's promise that the trials and tests that we go through are for our good (Romans 8:28, Hebrews 12:2, 2 Corinthians 4:17, James 1:2). We learn that it is through trust that our relationship with God strengthens and our love for Him grows.

Really guilty that i drifted away from him during the whole a's period and not placing my complete trust in him. :( It will take some time before i am completely comfortable in ck, but for now, i must learn to trust in him :)
